Central Carolina Community College: The Siler City center is one of two Chatham County CCCC locations. The college offers industrial training specialized for a business’s needs.

Chatham Youth Development Center: The Youth Development Center provides mentoring, education, and therapeutic treatment to adolescents.

Site Accessibility

The Business Campus is located at the intersection of four-lane highways US 64 and US 421 in Central North Carolina, providing easy access to Interstates 85, 40, and 74. The strategic location is 40 miles from Raleigh and the Research Triangle and less than 30 miles from Greensboro and the Piedmont Triad. Air Service is available from Raleigh-Durham International (RDU) and Piedmont Triad International (GSO) airports. The Siler City Municipal Airport has a 5,000-foot paved and lighted runway for local service.

Central Carolina Community College’s Division of Economic and Community Development provides programs tailored to a company’s needs, such as upgrading or enhancing the skills of a business’s employees. The North Carolina Department of Commerce, Chatham County, and Siler City offer businesses incentives.

NC Department of Commerce offers targeted, performance-based incentives that lessen the tax burden and overall costs for businesses. Companies that meet certain requirements can tax advantage of tax credits, sales and use discounts, exemptions and refunds, discretionary programs, and other cost-saving programs.

Chatham County provides incentive grants to new and expanding businesses that meet certain criteria for investment and job creation and retention. Projects are viewed on a case-by-case basis.
