2013 Meeting

The fifth annual Opportunity Chatham, presented by Duke Energy, was October 25, 2013 from 7:30 - 10 a.m. at the Barn at Fearrington Village.

North Carolina Department of Commerce Secretary Sharon Decker was the keynote speaker.

The program focused on two major economic development projects in Chatham County. The Chatham-Randolph Megasite, a 1,800-acre site near Siler City, is poised to be the state's first Certified Megasite. Chatham Park, a 7,100-acre live-work-play community in Pittsboro, expects to break ground on its first projects this fall.
