Chatham County desires to provide incentives for locating or expanding companies creating high wage employment in targeted industries. The county offers competitive incentive packages for potential projects. Depending on the location of the project, incentives from Chatham County’s municipalities are also available. State of North Carolina
The State of North Carolina has targeted, performance-based incentive programs to help companies that are located and doing business in North Carolina. The programs lower the tax burden and overall costs to the company. Chatham EDC works with the Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina to identify appropriate programs.
