The Chatham Economic Development Corporation (EDC) seeks applicants to serve on its board of directors. The application deadline is August 31st at 5 p.m.
Chatham EDC is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that leads economic development efforts in Chatham County. The board of directors adopts policies, manages finances and ensures the organization has adequate resources to advance its mission. The board meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 8:30 a.m.
As a nonprofit corporation, the Chatham EDC is looking for candidates who live or work in Chatham County. People with private sector business backgrounds and who are interested in furthering economic growth in the County strongly encouraged to apply.
