PITTSBORO, NC – July 13, 2018 – Chatham Economic Development Corporation (EDC) announced Kyle Touchstone has resigned his position as President of the organization.

Touchstone said, “I have enjoyed Chatham County and the opportunity to lead the work of the Chatham EDC’s strategic action agenda over the past couple of years. I have worked with some dynamic business-oriented individuals, which ultimately makes the decision to leave not easy. I will always appreciate my experience in Chatham County.”

Touchstone is joining the Greater Irving-Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce as its Vice President of Economic Development.

Chatham EDC chair Doug Emmons said, “We wish Kyle the absolute best. He has served the organization and the community well, and his efforts have created momentum that will have a lasting effect.”

Touchstone’s last day will be July 31. Chatham EDC has named Alyssa Byrd as Interim President.
