A housing community with over 200 new residences was approved recently in Siler City.

The town’s Board of Commissioners approved a rezoning request during a June meeting for 99.73 acres near the corner of Harold Andrews Road and U.S. Highway 421 on the north side of town. On the land, a development team plans to build 147 single-family homes and 67 townhomes for a total of 214 new residences.

Documents submitted to the Siler City Board of Commissioners list Hardik Raval, a Cary businessman, as the applicant for the project.
