The Chatham Economic Development Corporation (EDC) seeks applicants to serve on its board of directors. The application deadline is September 4, 2020 at 5 p.m.
Chatham EDC is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that leads economic development efforts in Chatham County. The board of directors adopts policies, manages finances and ensures the organization has adequate resources to advance its mission. The board meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 8 a.m.
Voting directors are appointed to four-year terms and can serve up to two terms. Appointments would begin November 10, 2020 and expire October 31, 2024.
The Chatham Economic Development Corporation is invested in forming a board that is representative of the citizens of Chatham County. People of color, women and historically underrepresented people are strongly encouraged to apply.
