The Chatham Economic Development Corporation (EDC) seeks applicants to serve on its board of directors. The application deadline is September 10, 2021 at 4 p.m.

Chatham EDC is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that leads economic development efforts in Chatham County. The board of directors adopts policies, manages finances and ensures the organization has adequate resources to advance its mission. The board meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 8 a.m.

Voting directors are appointed to four-year terms and can serve up to two terms. Appointments would begin November, 2021 and expire October 31, 2025.

As a nonprofit corporation, the Chatham EDC is looking for candidates who live or work in Chatham County. People with private sector business backgrounds and who are interested in furthering economic growth in the County strongly encouraged to apply.
