PITTSBORO, NC – October 26, 2018 – Chatham Economic Development Corporation (EDC) is partnering with the Small Business Administration (SBA) and SCORE for a small business workshop on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Chatham Park Conference Center in Pittsboro.
At the event, the SBA will give a brief presentation about their services. Workshop participants will then break into smaller groups with SCORE counselors to discuss specific concerns and needs and to consider what ongoing technical assistance would be the most helpful.
“Chatham County is growing quickly, which can be both an opportunity and a challenge for small businesses,” said Alyssa Byrd, EDC interim president. “This workshop will give small business owners and entrepreneurs a chance to create relationships with SCORE counselors and give feedback on what support businesses need so they can grow and be successful in Chatham County.”
The event is free, but space is limited. Participants are asked to register online or by contacted the EDC at 919-542-8274. The Chatham Park Conference Center is located at 55 Grant Dr., Suite D in Pittsboro.
