The longtime publisher of a newspaper group based in Siler City has sold to three Triangle area business leaders.
Mary Little Resch, the publisher and editor of The Chatham News and The Chatham Record, announced Friday that the newspapers would be sold to Chatham Media Group LLC.
That Chatham Media Group partnership includes Bill Horner III, the publisher of The Sanford Herald from 1998 to 2016. He will become the publisher and editor of The Chatham News and The Chatham Record.
